Two live Unknown Rockstar sets. The first set is a noise set from 27th of April 2017 at Audio Foundation. Unknown Rockstar played as part of the Musical Electronics Library (MEL) tape release. He used noise generators from the MEL library. The second set is an ambient keyboard set from 20th of May 2017 at the Aotea gallery. Unknown Rockstar played as part of the Heavy Habit tape release gig.

Unknown Rockstar is the current alias Sam Stephens, a musician currently based in New Zealand, uses for most of his solo work. He is an instrumental performing and recording artist.... working with known, unknown, and experimental elements to create recordings of interest to those who are curious about the manifestations of sound. The Unknown Rockstar is at heart an improvisor, and the albums he releases are single or multi track improvisations, or assembled from improvisations.
